About IDYDC SACCOS & MICROCREDIT
Empowering Communities Through Financial Inclusion
Our Origins
Founded in 1999 by the Iringa Development of Youth, Disabled, and Children Care (IDYDC) organization, our program was created to address the critical needs of families caring for street children and orphans.
We recognized that poverty and lack of basic needs were driving children away from their homes, so we established the SACCOS program to provide essential financial support and empowerment opportunities.
Our Mission Today
Today, IDYDC SACCOS & Microcredit remains a cornerstone of IDYDC's mission to improve lives in vulnerable communities across Iringa.
We provide comprehensive financial services including loans, savings, and training to diverse beneficiaries: from general populations to disadvantaged groups and aspiring youth entrepreneurs.
